My story

I didn't learn this work in a classroom.

I lived it first.

I grew up in a military family, constant movement, constant adaptation, and a front-row seat to the psychological weight carried by people expected to stay strong.

I saw what unprocessed trauma does to behaviour, relationships and identity. And eventually, I didn't just witness the breaking point … I reached my own.

A suicide attempt that became the line in the sand of my life. Not the end of my story. The moment I decided to actually understand it.

What I discovered saved me and then became my life's work: the mind is programmable. Patterns are learned. And what is learned can be rewritten.

I rebuilt myself deliberately, retraining my responses, reshaping my beliefs, doing the deep work I now guide others through.

Alongside the clinical training, I stopped hiding the other part of me: the gift that's run through three generations of my family, and the medicine path that kept finding me wherever in the world I went, through elders and teachers from South Africa to Venezuela, Costa Rica to Mexico, and the old traditions of my own bloodline.

So when you sit with me, you're not sitting with someone who read about this. You're sitting with someone who's been to the bottom, found the way back, and spent over seven years and twenty thousand hours walking others out the same door.
